Forgot my password
Sign-in screen → Forgot password. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use that same provider — there's no password to reset on our side.
An item landed in the wrong category
Tap the item, change its category from the picker, save. Our 1,281-item UK dictionary covers most things — if you spot a default that's wrong for a common item, email us and we'll fix it in the next release.
My shared list isn't syncing
Check both phones are online — Ticklyst syncs live but needs a connection. If items still aren't crossing over, pull down on the list to force a refresh. Still stuck? Email us with screenshots.
My supermarket isn't on the list
We launched with 11 UK chains. If yours isn't there yet, email us the name. We ship new chains based on demand — the more people ask for one, the sooner it lands.
How do I delete my account?
Account → Delete account inside the app. Removes your account, your private lists, and your data from our servers. Shared lists are handed off to another member so their work survives. Done in under ten seconds.
The app crashed
Open it again — most crashes are one-offs and the app picks up where you left off. If it keeps happening, email us with what you were doing right before, your iPhone model, and your iOS version (Settings → General → About).
Reporting a bug
If something's broken and you want it fixed, the more we know, the faster we'll patch it. Please include:
- iPhone model — Settings → General → About → Model Name
- iOS version— same screen, “iOS Version”
- What you were doing right before it happened — a few short steps is plenty
- A screenshot if the problem is visible
- Whether you can reproduce it, or it was a one-off
